The directors of Worthington Group plc are:-

Anthony Ralph Cooke (Non Exec Chairman)
Anthony has worked as a financial professional in the City of London for over 20 years, in both corporate and investment banking. For 12 years he was an international corporate and sovereign debt lender for Wells Fargo and another US bank and moved on to become General Manager of EMEA operations and was a senior credit officer with substantial approval authority.

He then moved into stockbroking and equity corporate finance for a period of 10 years. During this time he provided financial advice, led floatations and raised equity finance for a wide range of companies in the UK, Australia and in Eastern Europe. He was also Corporate Finance Director of a major French bank's subsidiary. In a varied career he has also served as Vice Chairman of a Community and Mental Health NHS Trust overseeing the Finance Director and establishing and chairing the audit committee.

Peter Townsend (Director)
Following a successful career within banking, predominantly within Lombard North Central where he was involved with both consumer and corporate finance including a period within the credit sanction and quality control departments, he moved into Business Management. He rose to become the financial director and company secretary of the very successful Ł120m turnover L+C Group where he made many city contacts. Peter ultimately took the lead role in the sale of the L+C Group to Inchcape Plc.

John Taylor (Director)
John Ramsden Taylor began working for Jerome in 1962 and after leaving to start his own business returned to the main board by selling those companies back to Jerome. In 1997 he became Group Managing Director and was involved in organising the sale of Jerome Group to Worthington in 1998 becoming a board director of the enlarged group and in 1999 he became CEO. He stepped down as CEO in 2002 and left the board in 2004 but continued his association as a consultant to the company overseeing the Keighley premises.
John, a true Yorkshire man has never considered leaving the area of his birth. He was an officer in a local TA Regiment and is actively involved in many outdoor and field sports events. John is Treasurer of Oxenhope Cricket Club and a Justice of the Peace. John's role for the company will be to work locally to ensure the smooth development of the Keighley site and to ensure it meets and exceeds local expectations and wherever appropriate encourage and support local companies to become involved with the project.
